DescriptionThis course provides an introduction to the history, theories, and methods of anthropology and its subfields: archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology. Major topics include human origins, evolution and variation, primatology, societies and cultures, supernatural beliefs, technology and human adaptation, medical and forensic anthropology, food and nutrition, tourism, and global change.
